PGE power claims PLN 2.64 bln EBITDA and PLN 0.55 bln attrib net profit in Q3 - prelims

Listed power group PGE likely posted PLN 2.64 bln (EUR 0.62 bln) EBITDA and PLN 0.55 bln (EUR 0.13 bln) attributable net profit in the third quarter, the group said of its preliminary estimates in a market filing.


Analysts surveyed by PAP Biznes expected PGE to post a PLN 2.99 bln (EUR 0.71 bln) EBITDA result and PLN 1.48 bln (EUR 0.35 bln) net profit.

The results for the third quarter of 2025 were influenced by one-off events decreasing reported EBITDA result by approx. PLN 313 mln, including in particular creation of a provision for restructuring of Dolna Odra power plant (decrease by approx. PLN 233 mln), voluntary leave program (decrease by approx. PLN 64 mln), the group said.

Recurring Q3 EBITDA likely settled at ca. PLN 2.96 bln (EUR 0.7 bln).

Capital expenditures in the third quarter of 2025 amounted to ca. PLN 2.67 bln and estimated net debt amounted to ca. PLN 0.37 bln at end-September.

PGE will present its final consolidated financial report for the third quarter of 2025 on November 25.
