PKO BP SAPKO BP expects accelerated credit growth in 2025
Poland's largest lender by assets, PKO BP anticipates an acceleration in credit volume growth in 2025, driven by higher client activity in a faster-growing economy, the bank said in a market filing.
The bank expects a positive trend in commission income from investment funds and benefits from increased client activity.
The cost of risk is expected to be influenced by positive effects from economic acceleration, low unemployment, and continued growth in credits.
In 2024, retail credits in the PKO BP group increased by 12 percent year over year to PLN 188.1 billion (EUR 44.8 bln).
