PKO BP SAPKO BP lender to pay dividend of PLN 5.48 per share from 2024 profit
Poland's largest lender by assets PKO BP's Ordinary General Meeting decided to pay a dividend of PLN 5.48 (EUR 1.29) per share from the 2024 profit. A total of PLN 6.85 billion (EUR 1.6 bln) will be allocated to the dividend, which is 74.87 percent of last year's profit.
The dividend record date is August 5, and the payment date is August 14, 2025.
The bank's shareholders also decided that the remaining part of the net profit achieved in 2024, amounting to PLN 2.3 billion (EUR 539.4 mln), will be allocated to the reserve capital for the payment of dividends, including interim dividends.
The AGM left the undistributed profit from previous years in the amount of PLN 9.44 billion (EUR 2.2 bln) as retained earnings. The justification for the resolution states that this is in line with the bank's strategy for 2025-2027 in the context of ensuring capital security and the possibility of further development of lending, including active participation in financing the energy transition in Poland.
In 2024, the ordinary general meeting of PKO BP shareholders decided to pay a dividend of PLN 2.59 (EUR 0.61) per share from the profit achieved in 2023.
