PKP Cargo rail hauler completes all due employee benefits' repayment process

Listed rail hauler PKP Cargo is completing the process of repaying all due liabilities to employees and former employees of the company. The total amount of outstanding employee benefits paid since January 2025 will amount to approximately PLN 105 million (EUR 24.7 mln), the company announced in a market filing.


The company's management board has decided to repay by October 8, 2025, the last due employee benefits totalling PLN 57.73 million (EUR 13.6 mln), including: retirement and disability severance pay, jubilee awards, and equivalents for unused holiday leave.

"Thus, the company is completing the process of repaying all due liabilities to employees and former employees of the company, resulting from unpaid benefits for the period from August 2024 to October 3, 2025. The funds allocated for the above payments come from the company's current operating activities," PKP Cargo announced in the market filing.
