Ferrum SAPoland to favour domestic companies in transportation hub CPK and nuclear power plant construction, says PM
Funds for the construction of Poland's central transportation hub CPK and Poland's first nuclear power plant will go primarily to Polish companies, Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk told a press conference.
"The CPK project company will carry out procedures in a way that will benefit Polish companies. I want to remind you that in the first stage there is PLN 5 billion in funds and PLN 30 billion for the whole project," Tusk stressed.
He added that PLN 60 billion (EUR 14.1 bln) will go to Polish companies from the state budget for the construction of Poland's first nuclear power plant.
The Prime Minister has also announced that Poland's 100-pecent state-owned SPV Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe (PEJ), the investor of the nuclear power plant project in Choczewo, has selected six Polish companies to supply components for the construction of the nuclear reactor.
"PEJ has selected six Polish companies which, together with Westinghouse, have started quality certification," Tusk reported.
These companies are Zaklad Konstrucji Spawanych Ferrum, Famak SA, Energomontaz-Polnoc Gdynia (EPGSA), Mostostal Siedlce, Mostostal Krakow and Mostostal Kielce.
