Poland's antitrust watchdog agrees on merger of Best and Kredyt Inkaso debt collectors

Listed debt collector Best has received approval from the head of Poland's antitrust and consumer protection regulator UOKiK for a concentration involving a merger with listed debt collector Kredyt Inkaso, the company said in a market filing.


The company said that receiving approval for the merger is one of the conditions necessary for the merger process and another step on the way to its implementation.

In October, Best concluded a cooperation agreement with WPEF VI Holding 5 B.V., a shareholder of Kredyt Inkaso, according to which the transaction option negotiated by Best and WPEF VI Holding 5 B.V. concerning Kredyt Inkaso will be a merger of Best and Kredyt Inkaso.
