Poland's grid operator sees installed capacity of PV farms at 21.3 GW
The installed capacity of photovoltaic farms as of January 1, 2025, is 21,291 MW and of wind farms it is 10,793 MW as of February 1, 2025, Poland's grid operator PSE said in a statement.
The operator pointed out that the large share of RES in the system affects, among other things, price volatility.
"The #PV capacity in the national electricity system amounts to 21,291 MW (as of January 1, 2025) and wind farms to 10,793 MW (as of February 1, 2025)," the operator wrote on X.
"The large share of #RES results in increasing dynamics of system operation and price volatility," it added.
