Poland's real estate transactions' value estimated at PLN 7.24 bln in Q3 2024 - c. bank
In the third quarter of 2024, the estimated value of real estate transactions in Poland's seven largest markets amounted to PLN 7.240 billion (EUR 1.7 bln), down from PLN 7.702 billion (EUR 1.8 bln) in the second quarter, Poland's central bank NBP said in its housing market report for the period.
Estimated transaction values were given for Gdansk, Gdynia, Cracow, Lodz, Poznan, Warsaw and Wroclaw.
Poland's central bank reported that 55 percent of developer housing purchases in the third quarter of 2024 came from own funds, with the own funds also being sold/converted other real estate.
In the second quarter of 2024, it was 59 percent.
