Polimex Mostostal builder interested in activities in defence sector

Listed builder Polimex Mostostal is interested in activities in the defence sector, the company's representatives told a conference. Polimex Mostostal does not exclude cooperation within the RFK company.


"We cannot be neutral to the fact that there is a revenue stream directed to defence activities. We are interested in Shield East and trying defence-directed funds," said CEO Jakub Stypula.

As he added, cooperation on RFK could be a bridgehead for such activity.

At the end of April, Poland's industrial development agency ARP, listed builder Polimex Mostostal and financials company Towarzystwo Finansowe Silesia have entered into a binding agreement on the lease of assets of listed engineering company Rafako.

As reported, ARP sold to its partners 2/3 of the shares of its consultancy unit, ARP Doradztwo company (1/3 of the shares each to Polimex and TF Silesia).

"There are many companies in Poland with which we could do business. With this company, we intend to establish relations with the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ)," Stypula said.
