Polimex Mostostal increases loss provision on gas-steam CHP plant project by PLN 52.4 mln.

Listed builder Polimex Mostostal increased the provision for loss related to the gas-steam combined heat and power plant construction project for Zespol Elektrocieplowni Wroclawskich Kogeneracja ZEWK by PLN 52.4 million (EUR 12.5 mln) to PLN 188.8 million (EUR 45 mln), Polimex said in a market filing.


As stated in the market filing, the increase in the loss provision is due in particular to the postponement of the expected completion date of the project until April 2025 and an increase in the cost budget.

The creation of the additional loss provision will reduce the EBITDA of the company and the Polimex Mostostal group for 2024.
