Polish industry minister appoints team to develop solutions for steel industry
Poland's industry minister Marzena Czarnecka has appointed a team to develop solutions to improve the performance of the steel industry in Poland, according to the ministry's order.
The order states that the tasks of the team include identifying the main challenges for the steel industry that require intervention at the national and European level, developing proposals for directional actions and recommendations to improve the functioning of the steel industry, identifying legal acts that will need to be amended to improve the functioning of the steel industry.
In addition to the minister of industry, the team will include representatives of the following ministries: the Ministry of State Assets, the Ministry of Climate and Environment, The Ministry of Economic Development and Technology; a representative of Poland's grid operator PSE and a representative of the Polish Steel Association (HIPH).
