Poland's Ministry of Finance would like the reduction of copper tax to be extended beyond 2027, Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski told journalists.
"I would like this tax reduction to be longer than two years," Domanski said.
On Monday, during the presentation of the economic programme at the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski announced the possibility of reducing copper tax by PLN 500 million (EUR 119.4 mln) from 2026 and by PLN 700 million (EUR 167.2 mln) in 2027.
