Polish power system stable after Prague hit by outage
A power failure in the Czech capital Prague has not affected the Polish power system, Poland's grid operator PSE has reported.
"With reference to disruptions in the Czech power system, we would like to inform you that the national power system (KSE) is operating in a stable and secure manner," PSE said in a statement on Friday. "The situation in the Czech Republic has not affected the functioning of the KSE."
The eastern part of Prague suffered a power failure on Friday morning, grid operator CEPS reported. The outage affected public transport, ATMs and lifts in the area. (PAP)
