PZU SAPZU insurer's general meeting decides to pay dividend of PLN 4.47 per share
On Wednesday, the Ordinary General Meeting of listed insurer PZU decided to allocate a total of PLN 3.86 billion (EUR 903.3 mln) from the net profit for 2024 and from the reserve capital created from the net profit for 2023 to the payment of dividends, which amounts to PLN 4.47 (EUR 1.05) per share.
The decision of the general meeting is in line with the earlier recommendation of the management board.
The dividend date was set for September 25, 2025, and the payment date for October 16, 2025.
PZU's net profit in 2024 amounted to approximately PLN 3.88 billion (EUR 908 mln), and after adding PLN 1.08 billion (EUR 252.7 mln) transferred from the reserve capital created from the net profit for 2023, the amount to be distributed amounted to PLN 4.96 billion (EUR 1.16 bln).
In accordance with the shareholders' decision, PLN 1.09 billion (EUR 253 mln) will be allocated to the reserve capital.
The insurer had previously announced that this distribution of profit is in line with the PZU Group's capital and dividend policy for 2025-2027 and takes into account the recommendations contained in the Polish financial watchdog KNF's position on dividend policy in 2025.
A year ago, PZU paid a dividend of PLN 4.34 (EUR 1.02) per share.
