Santander Bank Polska SASantander BP lender to issue senior preferred bonds with nominal value of up to PLN 3 bln
The management board of listed lender Santander Bank Polska has decided to issue senior preferred bonds series 1/2025 with a nominal value of up to PLN 3 billion (EUR 703.3 mln), the bank announced in a market filing.
The settlement of the issue will take place on December 1, 2025. The bonds will be redeemed on December 1, 2028, subject to the bank's right to early redemption.
The nominal value of one bond will be PLN 500,000 (EUR 117,215), and the issue price will be equal to the nominal value of the bond.
The bonds will bear interest at a variable rate equal to the sum of the WIBOR rate for 6-month deposits and a margin of 1.10 percent per annum.
The bank has announced that the bonds will be issued as liabilities that may be classified as eligible liabilities within the meaning of the act of June 10, 2016 on the Bank Guarantee Fund, the deposit guarantee scheme and compulsory restructuring.
The bank will apply for the bonds to be admitted to trading on the alternative trading system operated by the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
