Polish road infrastructure company Stalexport Autostrady plans to spend a total of PLN 69.2 million (EUR 16.5 mln) on investments in 2025, including more than PLN 28 million (EUR 6.7 mln) on motorway modernisation and drainage, the company's COO Stefano Bonomolo told a press conference. He added that maintenance works, on the other hand, are expected to cost almost PLN 208 million (EUR 49.7 mln).
Bonomolo said that the planned total investments in 2025 will amount to PLN 69.2 million (EUR 16.5 mln), of which more than PLN 28 million (EUR 6.7 mln) is to be spent on the modernisation and drainage of the motorway, and PLN 27.7 million (EUR 6.5 mln) on the construction of rest stops ‘Rudno’ and ‘Grojec’.
For maintenance works, the company is to allocate PLN 207.9 million (EUR 49.7 mln), and more than half of this amount (PLN 119 million or EUR 28.5 mln) will be spent on replacing the road surface.
The COO also added that the company plans to allocate more than PLN 400 million (EUR 95.7 mln) by the end of the concession period for the completion of the contract, including the replacement of the road surface on the HM-6-2022 road section and for investment works.
