--------------- ASSET MANAGEMENT / COPOERNICUS CAPITAL - Aset manager Copernicus Capital TFI lost its license for failing to keep its own capital on a pace with regulatory requirements, the market regulatory authority KNF said in a statement.
Copernicus fell some PLN 3.3 mln short in late 2019, missed a February 20, 2020 deadline following a three month grace period, and had a PLN 10.5 mln shortfall by end-October 2020, the KNF said.
"In the current conditions, the KNF sees no basis to judge that the capital position of [Copernicus Capital TFI] could effectively be improved in the foreseeable future," the KNF said in its statement.
