Unibep builder's PLN 407.9 mln bid for bypass construction selected as most favourable

Poland's road authority GDDKiA has selected listed builder Unibep's approx. PLN 407.9 million (EUR 93.35 mln) offer for the construction of a nearly 16-kilometre bypass of national road No. 22 as the most favourable in a tender, Unibep said in a market filing.


The contractor is has committed to develop the design documentation necessary to apply for a decision to authorise the realisation of a road investment (ZRID).

Once the above is obtained, Unibep will start construction, which is to be completed within 39 months from the date of conclusion of the contract (with winter periods from December 16 to March 15 excluded).

"We plan to sign the contract at the end of the second quarter of 2025, so that construction can be completed in the second quarter of 2029," Unibep said in the market filing.

The investment will be carried out in the 'Design and Build' system.
