UPDATE: Artur Olech dissmissed as CEO of PZU insurer, Andrzej Klesyk appointed as acting CEO

Artur Olech has been dismissed from his position as the CEO of listed insurance group PZU, the insurer said in a market filing. The reasons for the dismissal were not given. The supervisory board has appointed its member Andrzej Klesyk as the group's acting CEO for the period of up to three months.


The resolution on the dismissal does not contain information on the reasons and it has come into force upon adoption.

The supervisory board of PZU adopted a resolution on appointing its member Andrzej Klesyk as the acting CEO of PZU's management board for no longer than three months.

PZU's supervisory board entrusted Artur Olech as the group's CEO, subject to the approval of Poland's financial market regulator KNF, in March 2024. In July 2024, KNF agreed to appoint Olech as CEO of PZU.
