On basis of Rafako and further in Silesia rapid arms production will be possible - Poland's PM
Based on the case of listed engineering company Rafako, wider spread rapid arms productions could be possible in Silesia, Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk told a conference in Warsaw.
"There is nothing to hinder us from launching armaments production where boilers used to be produced. Rafako can be such a place and we have already decided to invest some money to keep this place," said the Prime Minister.
"Rafako, Raciborz, Silesia - these can be a place where production for the defence of Poland or Europe can reach a large scale," he added.
The Prime Minister pointed out that there is plenty of space in Silesia to launch arms production, using simplified procedures.
