Poland's state development bank BGK has granted PLN 251.548 billion (EUR 59.1 bln) in guarantees under the state programme of de minimis credit guarantees by the end of June 2025, up by PLN 3 billion (EUR 705 mln) from PLN 248.502 billion (EUR 58.4 bln) at end-May, BGK's data showed.
The guarantees translated into PLN 392.622 billion (EUR 92.3 bln) loans issued to companies.
As BGK reported, 303,452 companies have taken out loans within the programme since its launch in March 2013.
The 'de minimis' programme is aimed at providing co-guarantees for loans for small- and medium-sized enterprises, taking some of the risk burden away from the commercial banks. It has been operating since 2013.
