Poland's state development bank BGK has granted PLN 254.501 billion (EUR 59.8 bln) in guarantees under the state programme of de minimis credit guarantees by the end of July 2025, up by PLN 2.95 billion (EUR 693.3 mln) from PLN 251.548 billion (EUR 59.1 bln) at end-June, BGK's data showed.
The guarantees translated into PLN 397.983 billion (EUR 93.5 bln) loans issued to companies.
As BGK reported, 305,308 companies have taken out loans within the programme since its launch in March 2013.
The 'de minimis' programme is aimed at providing co-guarantees for loans for small- and medium-sized enterprises, taking some of the risk burden away from the commercial banks. It has been operating since 2013.
