BGK sells PLN 173 mln in three series of rescue bonds at top-up auction

Poland's state development bank BGK sold total of PLN 173 million (EUR 41.6 mln) in three series of FPC fund bonds at the top-up auction on Thursday, the bank said in a statement. The bonds were issued for the benefit of the Covid-19 Countermeasures Fund.


Earlier today, BGK sold PLN 858.1 million (EUR 206.1 mln) in four series of FPC fund bonds (FPC0229, FPC0231, FPC0631 and FPC0235) at an auction on Thursday, against a demand of PLN 1.418 million (EUR 340.6 mln).

All bond issues are being conducted for the benefit of the Covid-19 Countermeasures Fund operated by BGK bank. The Fund is for the public finance sector. Its full service is provided by BGK, in particular managing its liquidity and raising financing, mainly in the form of bond issues.
