Canpack invests PLN 440 mln to increase production capacity of its plant in Bydgoszcz

Polish manufacturer of metal packaging for the beverage and food industry Canpack is investing more than PLN 440 million (EUR 103.5 mln) to increase the production capacity of its existing plant in Bydgoszcz. The project will be supported by the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone, PSEZ said in a press release.


Canpack belongs to the international Giorgi Global Holdings Group based in the US and operating in 16 countries on five continents.

According to the press release, thanks to the investment, the production capacity of the Bydgoszcz plant will increase by approximately one billion cans per year.

This year's investment projects of the Pomeranian SEZ amount to more than PLN 1.7 billion (EUR 400 mln).
