Enea SAPoland has PLN 40 bln agreements for KPO loans to modernise distribution networks
A total of almost PLN 40 billion (EUR 9.4 bln) in agreements have been signed under the national recovery plan KPO-funded Energy Support Fund, which will go to listed power utilities Tauron, Energa, PGE and Enea for the modernisation of electricity networks, climate minister Paulina Hennig-Kloska wrote on X.
"In total, we have already signed agreements for almost PLN 40 billion. Low-interest loans for the development and modernisation of electricity grids will go to Tauron, Energa, PGE and Enea," Hennig-Kloska wrote.
She added that investments in grid development are expected to guarantee a reliable supply of cheap and clean energy without the risk of a blackout.
