Poland with over 1.077 mln foreigners performing work at end-April 2025 - stats office

The number of foreigners working in Poland at the end of April stood at 1,077,300, up by 5.5 percent year on year and by 1.0 percent month on month, Poland's stats office GUS reported.


According to GUS, at end-April, the share of foreigners in the total number of those performing work in Poland was 6.5 percent.

Among foreigners performing work, 410,400 people were employed exclusively under contract of mandate and related contracts, up 5.2 percent year on year and 1.3 percent on a monthly basis.

Citizens of Ukraine remained the largest group of foreigners working in Poland (66.9 percent). At the end of April, there were 721,000 Ukrainians performing work in Poland, up by 4.1 percent year on year and by 0.8 percent month on month.
