Poland signs contracts for 40.7 pct of EU 2021-2027 funds by May 4 - funds ministry
By May 4, 15,088 contracts had been signed for EU funding for projects that will use 40.7 percent of the available EU cohesion policy funds for 2021-2027, Poland's Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy (MFiPR) reported on its website.
"15,088 project co-financing agreements were signed with beneficiaries, with eligible expenditure of PLN 165.7 billion, including PLN 130.4 billion of EU co-financing, representing 40.7 percent of the available allocation of EU funds," the ministry wrote.
MFiPR added that by May 4, under national and regional programmes, potential beneficiaries had submitted 54,317 applications for projects with a total value of PLN 430.9 billion (EUR 100.8 bln), of which the requested EU co-financing amounted to PLN 322.5 billion (EUR 75.4 bln).
