Poland signs contracts for 46.8 pct of EU 2021-2027 funds by August 3 - dev. funds ministry
By August 3, 18,308 agreements had been signed for EU funding for projects that will use 46.8 percent of the available EU cohesion policy funds earmarked for 2021-2027, Poland's Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy (MFiPR) reported on its website.
"18,308 project co-financing agreements have been signed with beneficiaries, with eligible expenditure of PLN 192.0 billion, including PLN 149.7 billion of EU co-financing, representing 46.8 percent of the of EU funds' available allocation," the ministry wrote.
MFiPR added that by August 3, under national and regional programmes, potential beneficiaries had submitted 60,332 applications for projects with a total value of PLN 480.2 billion (EUR 112.4 bln), of which the requested EU co-financing amounted to PLN 369.5 billion (EUR 86.5 bln).
