GPW SAPoland's electricity turnover down by 19.2 pct y/y in Q3 2025 - commodity exchange
Poland's total electricity turnover on the TGE commodity exchange decreased by 19.2 percent year on year in the third quarter of 2025 to 28,001,244 MWh, TGE said in a press release.
The turnover decreased by 6.9 percent in quarterly terms.
On the futures market, turnover fell by 27.3 percent year on year to 16,079,728 MWh, while on the spot market, turnover decreased by 4.7 percent to 11,921,516 MWh.
On the natural gas market, transactions with a volume of 61,532,831 MWh were concluded, which represents an increase of 46.0 percent year on year and 57.7 percent quarter on quarter.
On the futures market, transactions with a volume of 46,597,858 MWh were concluded, a year-on-year increase of 54.7 percent, while on the spot market, transactions with a volume of 3,985,039 MWh were concluded, representing a decrease of 11.6 percent.
