Poland's GDP up 3.4 pct y/y in Q4 2024 vs 3.2 pct primarily estimated - stats office

Poland's Gross Domestic Product grew by 3.4 percent year on year in the fourth quarter of 2024, against 3.2 percent estimated earlier, the stats office GUS reported. In the third quarter of 2024, Poland's GDP rose by 2.8 percent against earlier estimates of 2.7 percent.


The year-on-year GDP growth estimate for the second quarter 2024 remained unchanged at 3.2 percent, while the estimate for the first quarter of 2024 was revised to 2.2 percent from 2.1 percent year on year.

Poland's stats office said that GDP growth for the whole of 2024 amounted to 2.9 percent, unchanged from earlier estimates.

In turn, GUS revised its estimate of Poland's full-year GDP growth in 2023 to 0.2 percent from 0.1 percent.
