Poland's monthly business climate index MIK rises to 103.2 pts in October - PIE

Poland's monthly business climate index (MIK), measuring the economic sentiment of businesses in Poland, has increased by 6.1 points month on month to 103.2 in October, according to a survey conducted by the Polish Economic Institute (PIE). This is the highest level recorded year-to-date,


PIE reported that for the first time in five months, the index is above the neutral level of 100.0, which means that positive sentiment prevails over negative sentiment among entrepreneurs.

The current MIK is 0.3 points higher than the highest values recorded so far this year in February and April (102.9 points each month).
