Poland's Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy (MFiPR) announced that over PLN 2.3 billion (EUR 545.3 mln) from the European Funds for a Modern Economy (FENG) programme will be allocated to support startups from 2021 to 2027. The funding includes capital instruments for the VC market, with first investments planned for the first quarter of 2025.
"The ministry has provided more than PLN 2.3 billion of FENG funds to support startups. Startups can also apply for support from other activities of the programme (this is the SMART path) and receive funding, provided that all mandatory criteria are met," the ministry stated in response to questions from PAP Biznes.
