Prime Minister maintains that Poland will not send soldiers to Ukraine
Poland does not envisage sending troops to Ukraine, it will support it as before, Prime Minister Donald Tusk told a press conference.
"Poland will support Ukraine as it has so far: organisationally, according to our possibilities financially, humanitarian and in terms of military aid. We do not envisage sending Polish soldiers to Ukraine. We will also support, in terms of logistics and political support, countries that may want to provide such guarantees in the future, such physical guarantees," Tusk said.
"Real guarantees of security, of the permanence of the borders for Ukraine, must come from the cooperation of the whole of Europe, the US, within the framework of NATO anyway," he added.
