Value of Polish housing loans is growing at moderate pace, their quality remains very good
The value of housing loans is growing at a moderate pace, and their quality remains very good, Poland's macroprudential body KSF-M wrote in a statement following its regular meeting.
"An analysis of current trends in the domestic residential real estate market indicates that in the last quarter there was a further slowdown in the growth of apartment prices in nominal and real terms. This was due to a decline in demand coupled with a reduction in the supply of apartments," the market filing said.
"The value of housing loans is growing at a moderate pace, and their quality remains very good. A gradual reduction in bank margins is noticeable," it added.
