Vote on interest rate cuts may happen if projection shows inflation decline - c. bank governor
The vote on interest rate cuts may come when the projection shows a decline in inflation, Poland's central bank NBP governor Adam Glapinski told a press conference.
"At some point, the current data can show that inflation is no longer growing, or is already falling, and the projections could show that it will fall in the coming quarters. This will be the moment when a vote on a cut may take place," Glapinski said.
"All members of the Council are waiting for the moment (...) when they will be able to lower rates," he added.
