MCI Capital ASI SAMCI Capital fund wants NTFY diet catering service to see double-digit growth
Warsaw-listed MCI Capital fund, which took a 55 percent stake in the Nice To Fit You (NTFY) diet catering service, wants the company to see double-digit growth, Pawel Borys, managing partner at MCI Capital, said. Planned is a PLN 100 million investment in a new production facility.
"This is MCI's largest transaction in history, it amounted to over PLN 180 million. We decided on this investment because we believe that the diet catering boom is still ahead of us," said Pawel Borys at a press conference.
"An important element of our strategy in the coming years is for the company to experience double-digit growth and to feel our support as an investor. We want to share our experience in the e-commerce sector and build the strongest e-commerce food brand," he added.
As Borys indicated, the company currently sees 20 percent growth, and the whole diet catering sector sees lower but also double-digit growth.
According to PMR market researcher data, the Polish diet catering market is worth PLN 3.5 billion (EUR 832.6 mln) and will be worth PLN 5 billion (EUR 1.2 bln) by 2028.
Borys did not exclude further acquisitions in this segment in the future.
The company plans to build a new production facility worth PLN 100 million (EUR 23.8 mln) near Warsaw. Currently, NTFY works out of three production facilities.
"We want to at least double our capacity and upgrade our technology park," said the NTFY CEO.
"The investment will enable the company to continue growing for several more years," Pawel Borys added.
The investment is scheduled to be launched in the second half of 2026.
