Azoty chemicals to ship 36,640 tonnes of fertilisers to South America, record high

The loading of 36,640 tonnes of fertiliser bound for South America has been completed at the port owned by listed chemical group Azoty's unit, Azoty Police; it was the first such operation on this scale in the history of the Police plant, Azoty said in a press release.


The fertiliser produced in Police will be used for agricultural crops in the South America.

The shipment was carried out using port infrastructure and maritime logistics.

The company highlighted that this operation confirms Grupa Azoty’s capacity to conduct large-scale logistics operations at the highest level, which paves the way for expanding exports of Polish chemical products to global markets.

This marks the first time the Police plant has executed a shipment of this scale to South America, signalling a significant milestone in the company’s international expansion efforts.
