Polish investment funds' AuM up by 2.5 pct m/m to approx. PLN 391.5 bln in July
Poland's domestic mutual funds had nearly PLN 391.5 billion (EUR 91.8 bln) in assets under management in July, up by 2.5 percent month on month, according to chamber of fund and asset managers IZFiA's data. It was pointed out that in a month, the Polish mutual funds companies (TFIs) earned around PLN 3.6 billion (EUR 844.6 mln) for their clients.
"It was reported that debt funds recorded the highest asset growth in July, increasing their assets by 4.0 percent to PLN 183.4 billion. Their market share rose to 46.9 percent," the report states.
It was added that Poland's pension plans PPK funds managed by TFI also recorded high growth. Their assets grew by 3.3 percent in a month, mainly thanks to contributions from employees and employers (almost PLN 0.5 billion or EUR 117.3 million net), but also thanks to high management results.
