Auto Partner to launch pilot warehouse in Germany; expects export growth to accelerate

Listed automotive parts distributor Auto Partner will launch a pilot warehouse in western Germany, deputy CEO Piotr Janta announced at the results conference. He added that after the opening of the hub in Zgorzelec, the company expects, among other things, an acceleration in export growth.

"We have signed a contract for a warehouse in Germany, which will be located in the western part of the country. This is a pilot warehouse," deputy CEO Janta told the conference.

"We want to establish ourselves in this market and test our presence. Its task will be to supply customers not only in Germany, but also beyond its borders," he added.

The deputy CEO added that the launch date of the new warehouse will coincide more or less with the launch of the warehouse in Zgorzelec.

"The warehouse in Zgorzelec is practically finished, practically all systems are operational, we are currently checking stock levels, and the recruitment and training of new employees is underway," CEO Andrzej Manowski pointed out.

"At this stage, everything is going smoothly, according to plan. We plan to launch the first routes in December. Ultimately, the transfer of all routes will take place gradually. I think this process will be completed in the second quarter of 2026," he added.

Auto Partner's deputy CEO Piotr Janta announced that after opening the hub in Zgorzelec, the company expects, among other things, an acceleration in export growth.

"We are increasing or extending the possibility for customers to order goods. Today, our closing times are much earlier than they will be in Zgorzelec, so we expect export growth to accelerate," Janta assessed.

"We will be able to complete orders longer than now. The level of service will increase significantly, so even without doing anything, this revenue must be more dynamic than it is now. There are no precise calculations, but it is a small few percent," he added.

Auto Partner announced that the share of its own brands is currently around 17 percent against around 20 percent in the prior year period.

"Nothing bad is happening here. We are optimising the number of references that should be included in our own brand. We have repeatedly signalled that we want to have those items that are actually highly profitable, which are more expensive per unit. (...) We are continuing to develop these brands and they are very important to us," deputy CEO Janta said.

According to Auto Partner's management board member Tomasz Werbinski, the inventory turnover ratio remains at a very good level.

"It will probably deteriorate slightly in the short term as a result of the launch of the hub in Zgorzelec. However, within a year of its launch, it should stabilise again at the level we have seen so far," he assessed.

Werbinski also pointed out that the share of foreign sales in the company's revenues has exceeded 50 percent.

"We intend to continue this trend, for example through projects such as the Zgorzelec Hub, which will open at the turn of 2025 and 2026 and should help to increase our share in foreign sales," he assured.

Deputy CEO Janta reported that demand in the markets where the company operates is flat due to the deflation it is facing.

"There is a slowdown in the markets, not only in Poland. It is visible in most of the markets where we are present. (...) This is a trend that has been visible in recent quarters and is unlikely to disappear in the next quarter or two," he added.

The company's semi-annual financial report has shown that Auto Partner posted a PLN 57.9 million (EUR 13.6 mln) net profit in the second quarter of 2025, below the market expectations for a PLN 59.7 million (EUR 14 mln) net take.
