Bank Pekao SABank Pekao decides to increase assumed amount of bond issue to PLN 750 mln
Listed lender Bank Pekao, due to significant investor interest expressed in the course of book-building, has decided to increase the originally envisaged bond issue amount from PLN 500 million (EUR 119.5 mln) to PLN 750 million (EUR 179.3 mln), the bank said in a market filing. The redemption date for the bonds will be April 4, 2035.
Bank Pekao is issuing series E subordinated capital bonds. The total number of bonds to be issued is 1,500. The nominal value per unit is PLN 500,000 (EUR 119,510).
The interest rate on the bonds is variable, based on the benchmark WIBOR 6M plus a margin of 1.85 percent.
The bonds will be introduced into the Catalyst alternative trading system operated by the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Upon approval by the Poland's financial watchdog KNF, the bonds will be qualified as Tier II instruments.
