BOŚ SABOS bank in its strategy for '25-27 wants ROE to be greater than 10 pct at end of '27
Listed lender BOS in its strategy for 2025-2027, has set strategic targets for the end of 2027 for ROE to be greater than 10 percent, total assets to be greater than PLN 30 billion (EUR 7.04 bln), WNDB level to be greater than PLN 1.2 billion (EUR 281.6 mln) and NPL ratio to be 8 percent, the bank said in a market filing.
The final strategic target for the end of 2027 is to be above 50 percent of eco-friendly lending.
As stated, the key points of the strategy are the development of multi-product cooperation with customers within the two business areas for comprehensive support of the green transformation leading to an increase in the number of customers; intensive growth of credit assets in the two business areas with a focus on green assets and energy generation sources, including in the Agro segment.
In addition, the bank will prioritise the development of ongoing cooperation and lending with local government units as well as energy companies in supporting the green transformation at the local level; the development of cooperation with the cooperative banking sector in financing the green transformation.
The strategy also assumes inter-institutional cooperation with Poland's National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management NFOSiGW, the Regional Environmental Protection and Water Management Fund WFOSiGW, Poland's state development bank BGK, Polish credit insurer KUKE, European Investment Bank EIB/ European Forest Institute EFI, farming agency ARiMR and national agriculture support centre KOWR.
BOS also assumes an increase in the quality of services provided and investment in human capital, as well as process and technological transformation of the bank, including the optimisation of credit processes and the digitalisation and development of e-banking and mobile applications, which has been identified as a prerequisite for business growth and improved efficiency of the bank's operations.
