CCC fashion announces intention to take control of MKRI - UOKiK

Listed footwear and clothing group CCC has announced its intention to take control of MKRI fashion, Poland's anti-monopoly watchdog UOKiK stated on its website.


"CCC intends to carry out a concentration consisting in the acquisition of control over MKRI. CCC intends to acquire at least 41 percent of shares in MKRI's capital, which, together with the shares it already holds, will allow CCC to exercise sole control over MKRI," the statement reads.

MKRI operates casual clothing and sports footwear stores in small and medium-sized towns throughout Poland. These stores operate under the kaes. and Worldbox (CCC franchise chain) brands.
