Comarch SACelon Pharma to replace Comarch in mWIG40 index - GPW Benchmark
After the session on October 18, 2024, the shares of Comarch IT will be delisted from the mWIG40 index, Warsaw Stock Exchange benchmark rate administrator GPW Benchmark said in a statement. In the mid-cap index, Comarch will be replaced by pharma company Celon Pharma.
In turn, in the sWIG80 index, Celon Pharma shares will be replaced by food manufacturer Tarczynski.
As stated, the operation of removing Comarch from the portfolios of the indices is due to their methodology, according to which the indices cannot include companies which less than 10 percent of shares are traded on stock exchange.
On October 11, Comarch said that after the completion of the tender offer, the callers will hold more than 95 percent of the company's voting rights and intend to announce a squeeze-out and subsequently delist the company's shares from the WSE.
