E-commerce sector to be weaker y/y in Q1, InPost grows faster than competitor, says CEO
The first quarter of 2025 in the e-commerce segment will be weaker than a year ago, but the CEO of Amsterdam-listed parcel locker operator InPost Rafal Brzoska announces that his group is doing better than its competitors.
"You can see from the research that the first quarter in e-commerce will be weaker than a year ago. We are comfortable with that, we are doing better than the market," Rafal Brzoska said.
In the first quarter of 2025 in Poland, InPost expects around 10 percent volume growth, clearly outperforming the weaker e-commerce market and achieving year-on-year growth in all segments.
In foreign markets, InPost also assumes higher growth rates than the e-commerce market in general. The company expects around 17 percent year-on-year volume growth.
