Enea power maintains its expected CAPEX at approx. PLN 8 bln in 2025

Listed power utility Enea's maintains that its capital expenditure this year will be around PLN 8 billion (EUR 1.9 bln), the company's deputy CEO Dalida Gepfert told a press conference.


"We maintain this forecast of PLN 8 billion, we will implement investments according to plans," Enea's deputy CEO said.

In the first quarter of 2025, the group's capital expenditure amounted to PLN 618 million (EUR 145.7 mln), while the plan had assumed an approximately PLN 2.8 billion (EUR 660.2 mln) CAPEX in this period.

As Gepfert explained, the lower-than-expected performance after the first quarter is due to, among other things, the postponement of acquisition transactions to subsequent periods.

Enea group's investment plan for 2025 assumes PLN 7.94 billion (EUR 1.9 bln) of capital expenditure against a PLN 3.4 billion (EUR 801.7 mln) CAPEX in 2024.
