Enea power works on more than dozen acquisitions in RES area

Listed power group Enea is working on more than a dozen acquisitions in the area of RES, group representatives said. By 2027, Enea expects to have renewable energy projects with a capacity of around 1 GW.

"We are doing what we can in the RES area. We have our own green field projects and purchased projects and installations," CEO Grzegorz Kinelski said at the meeting.

"As far as acquisition projects are concerned, we are currently working on over a dozen projects and if you were to count them it is close to 1 GW of power," Arkadiusz Arusztowicz, CEO of Enea Nowa Energia, said.

As he informed, the group is also working on its own projects in the area of renewable energy.

"We currently have applications filed with various operators to determine technical connection conditions for more than 2 GW, this relates to our own projects. (...) Quite a large volume is accounted for by storage facilities," Arusztowicz said.

"We are getting ready with a huge construction site for 2026. We have then a planned construction of more than 0.5 GW," he added.

According to the group's presentation, Enea expects to have renewable energy projects with a capacity of around 1 GW by 2027.

At the end of 2024, the group had 81 MW in photovoltaics and 71.6 MW in wind.
