ING Bank Hipoteczny holds mortgage bond issue subscription worth PLN 500 mln

Listed lender ING BSK's mortgage unit ING Bank Hipoteczny held a mortgage bond issue subscription with a total nominal value of PLN 500 million (EUR 116.6 mln), the bank said in a press release. The mortgage bond issue subscription was held on September 3 and settled on September 11.


"The transaction was carried out on good pricing terms, with strong investor interest. As a result, we raised almost twice the expected volume," said Jacek Frejlich, CEO of ING Bank Hipoteczny, quoted in the release.

"The proceeds from the issue, in line with the bank's strategy, are used to finance long-term mortgages," he added.

ING Bank Hipoteczny's mortgage bonds are rated Aa1 by Moody's. The bank's mortgage bonds are listed in Warsaw and Luxembourg.

The organisers of the issue were ING Bank N.V and ING Bank Slaski.
