InPost logistics installs lockers at Tesco supermarkets in UK
Amsterdam-listed parcel locker operator InPost has announced the installation of 1,000 parcel lockers in partnership with a UK supermarket chain, thereby furthering its expansion into the country's out-of-home parcel delivery sector.
InPost announced in a press release that it had installed 250 parcel lockers at Aldi discount stores earlier this year, and is now launching 1,000 additional lockers in collaboration with Tesco, another supermarket chain in the UK.
In all, the company operates more than 12,800 OOH (out-of-home) delivery locations, including over 10,000 parcel lockers.
"Great Britain is our fastest-growing market, and we are responding to the growing expectations of consumers by establishing the largest network of OOH delivery points in the United Kingdom," said Rafal Brzoska, the president and founder of InPost, as quoted by the company. (PAP)
