Poland's flag airline LOT with PLN 688.5 mln net profit in 2024
Poland's flag airline PLL LOT saw a net profit of PLN 688.5 million (EUR 166.6 mln) in 2024 and an operating profit of PLN 805.7 billion (EUR 195 mln), with sales revenue of PLN 9.926 billion (EUR 2.4 bln), the company said in a press release.
The company said that although the increased market competition, related to the growth in offerings, resulted in lower ticket prices, LOT realised an operating margin of 8.1 percent, thanks to its network management, maximisation of unit revenues, cost discipline and effective use of opportunities in the charter market, measured against the increase in service prices.
The company's own assets increased to PLN 1.14 billion (EUR 275.8 mln) at the end of 2024 against PLN 734.2 million (EUR 177.6 mln)
At the end of December 2024, LOT's fleet was the largest in the carrier's history with 86 aircraft.
