Poland's postal operator receives nearly PLN 964 mln from Ministry of State Assets
Poland's state postal operator Poczta Polska has received a special purpose grant worth PLN 963.6 million (EUR 229.7 mln) form Poland's Ministry of State Assets for covering net cost of universal postal service obligation for 2023, the operator wrote in a statement.
As stated, a special purpose subsidy to finance the net cost of universal postal service obligations may be paid if the operator incurred a loss on universal services in a given year.
This subsidy constitutes state aid, which may be granted in accordance with EC provisions.
